How to butterfly click
Two fingers on one button
Rest your index and middle fingers side by side on the left button.

Check your balance
Your result shows finger balance: 100% means both fingers keep the same rhythm.
Reading your butterfly result
Balanced
Both fingers click at almost the same pace. Work on raw speed next.
One finger lags
The gaps alternate long-short. Slow down and focus on making every gap equal before speeding up.
Butterfly clicking can produce very high CPS because two fingers share the work. Some mice register it better than others, depending on the switch and debounce time.
Is butterfly clicking allowed?
Rules depend on the game and the server. Some Minecraft servers cap clicks per second or flag very high CPS as suspicious, whatever technique you use. Check the rules of the server you play on before relying on butterfly clicking in competitive play.
What is a good butterfly CPS?
Most people reach 10 to 14 CPS within a few days of practising butterfly clicking, compared with 6 to 8 CPS for normal one-finger clicking. Experienced players regularly hold 15 to 20 CPS over ten seconds. Much higher claims exist online, but many of them come from mice that register more than one click per press.
The number that tells you the most is your finger balance, shown under your result. When both fingers land close to half of the clicks each, your rhythm is even and your score is real. When one finger does most of the work, you are closer to fast regular clicking, and evening out the rhythm is the quickest way to improve.
Butterfly clicking also wears out a mouse switch faster than normal use. If your scores jump unexpectedly, run the double click test to check that the switch is not adding extra clicks.
